Royal Automobile Museum
Discover the remarkable journey of Jordan’s history at the Royal Automobile Museum, a humble tribute founded in 2003 under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II. This unique museum invites you to explore an important chapter of Jordan’s political heritage through a captivating collection of vehicles that span generations.
Wander through exhibits that reflect the legacy of the Hashemite Kingdom, showcasing cars from the reign of King Abdullah I to King Abdullah II. Among our cherished artifacts is the iconic 1952 Lincoln Cabri convertible, a vehicle steeped in history as it served the late King Hussein Bin Talal during his studies in England and was present at his crowning ceremony in May 1953.
In addition to Jordanian treasures, our collection features rare non-Jordanian vehicles and bikes, including a stunning 19th-century bicycle and an exquisite Bugatti. Each exhibit tells a story of passion and progress, inviting visitors to appreciate not just the vehicles themselves but also their significance in shaping our nation’s narrative.
We warmly invite you to visit the Royal Automobile Museum and experience this enriching blend of history and culture. Join us in celebrating Jordan’s past while appreciating the artistry and engineering behind each vehicle. Your journey through our doors will be both enlightening and inspiring.
