The government exempts vehicles whose license has expired for more than one year from licensing fees and fines-Prime Ministry

Amman, November 19 (Petra) – The Council of Ministers decided, in its session held today, Tuesday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, to exempt vehicles whose licenses have expired for several years from the additional fees (fines) due on them within a maximum period of 12/31.
The decision also includes exempting vehicles whose license has expired for more than one year from the acquisition fee for previous years, and the re-registration fees due on them, if any, within a maximum period of 12/31.

The decision comes with the aim of reducing the financial burdens on citizens who own vehicles whose license has expired, and facilitating registration and licensing procedures for those whose vehicles have been without a license for years. The decision also aims to achieve traffic safety and maintain public safety and the safety of citizens.

Upcoming Public Meetings

A town hall meeting is an American term given to an informal public meeting, function, or event derived from the traditional town meetings of New England. Typically open to everybody in a town community and held at the local municipal building, attendees generally present ideas, voice their opinions, ask questions of the public figures, elected officials, or political candidates at the town hall. Attendees rarely vote on an issue or propose an alternative to a situation. It is not used outside of this secular context.
